This freehold former surface mine site is located within the Dearne Valley and has very good transportation links to the M1.
To date the Company has leased 3 acres to Green Park Energy for a mines gas extraction and electricity generation facility and sold 36 acres to Prologis for the development of their 525XL distribution facility.
Harworth Estates will be developing a further 10 acres in Joint Venture with Strategic Sites. A planning application has been approved by BMBC for 117,000 sq.ft of B2 and B8 uses.
In addition a planning application has been submitted for the adjoining site (approximately 8.5 acres) for the development of a sustainable mixed use development.
